When he suggested that topic, I was immediately intrigued. Our conversation really inspired me and got me thinking. What can we, as product people, learn from social media? How can we apply it to our day-to-day?

Product managers need to be influencers — This is a sentiment I’ve heard a lot, and it goes hand in hand with product managers’ need to be leaders.
Let’s unpack it a bit because sometimes people confuse influence and manipulation as someone pointed out on LinkedIn the other day. And manipulating people does not sound like leadership to me.
