The Product Coalition premium newsletter is a higher level, approachable, weekly insights series about staying curious in product and driving career growth.
This was born from the fact I was bored of the same old prioritisation framework type newsletter every other product influencer puts out. So each week I go very deep on different technology, industry and push the boundaries on thought, but continuously tie it back to product management.
Medium writer access
We started out on Medium and we still support, edit and publish community articles on the platform. As a paid member you would receive priority article reviews and publishing on our Medium publication.

1x podcast episode annually, all about YOU
This is the #1 method to raise your professional profile and create a personal brand item for life. Since 2017 when we started out on Youtube, we’ve now collected over 50k downloads, and average 300-500 listens in the first 30 days per episode. But, podcasts last forever, and we have episodes from 2021 that to-date have had over 3000 downloads!
How it works is:
You fill in the exclusive podcast episode application form
I’ll have a 15minute briefing call to set your episode up for success
I’ll firstly run a live event then we’ll flip that into a dedicate podcast episode
First, I’ll promote your name and event to over 10k subscribers on LinkedIn
Then, I’ll promote your name and event to over 10k of our Substack subscribers
We’ll go live simultaneously on LinkedIn, Facebook and Youtube to over 20k of our subscribers, who will have on-demand access for 3 weeks
Then, 2-3 months later I’ll repackage this as a podcast, and we’ll prepare trailer snippet videos to promote the episode (and send them to you)
Then, I’ll use these videos promote your episode 5-7 times on LinkedIn to 10k+ subscribers
Then I’ll promote your episode in our Substack email newsletter that goes out to 10k+ subscribers
Our paid members will get early access, and the general public will get access 1 week later.

Our dedicated Substack newsletter for “Promote Me“ members is all about putting your story into words.
These newsletters are all about sharing what makes you an incredible business professional.
How it works is:
You’ll write your own newsletter and send it to jay@productcoalition.com
Ensure it has a clear start, middle and end. Link to awesome pieces of work, video, podcasts or articles about you or your thoughts.
Jay will advise a distribution date, that’s not too close to your podcast recording, to keep it fresh
I’ll hit send and support the post with social awareness to 10k+ members on LinkedIn.
2x15min live events annually, all about YOU
This is the quick and easy way raise your professional profile on a an acute passion or problem.
Here’s how this works:
You fill in the exclusive podcast episode application form (just mention it’s for a LinkedIn Live event)

These sessions are limited to 10 spots each, so you must RSVP in the calendar link. Each attendee gets a chance to ask questions in a round-robin format.
